Dominique Martin, born into a family of Martins who have been making wine for five generations, separated from the main family in 1983 and established Domaine de la Cruz Noire. Located in the village of Lyene, 1 km south of Fusse village in the southern Burgundy region, it owns a total of 32 ha of its own fields in Macon and Beaujolais. With an emphasis on quality, we pay close attention to all aspects of viticulture: pruning, soil maintenance, thinning and harvesting. Under the philosophy of the Martin family, which respects terroir and aims to coexist with nature, in 2018 it also acquired Level 3, the highest level of French environmental value certification (HVE).
