Mike (winemaker) learnt from a true legend of the Australian industry; Max Scubert (winemaker: Penfold's Grange) how to make great wine. Mike was chief winemakers at Seppelts and Mildara Blass; making wines like Jamieson Run & Yellowglen. Now he only makes wine that bears his name. Crisp summer fresh melon and grapefruit fruit explodes from the glass. The fruit is rich and powerful which matches the soft yet crisp acid on the palate. The finish is clean and warm, a lovely summer drinking wine that should be served well chilled.
