Barolo‘Fratelli Levis’ DOCG’08, Sartirano Fig

Barolo‘Fratelli Levis’ DOCG’08, Sartirano Fig
¥3,696

A powerhouse Barolo, with initial flavors of cooked fruit, eycalyptus, resin and mint. Starts off forbiddingly closed, so make sure to give it lots of oxygen - I recommend decanting it twice (!) and you will be rewarded with a bold, mineral-rich, juicy, `traditional' Barolo with petrol, roasted coffee beans and cocoa notes . A fantastic bargain at this price!

Food recommendations:
Teppan-yaki, Yakiniku, Lamb, roasted meat, mature cheeses and Piemontese cuisine (rabbit, game, truffle-dishes, wild boar) oil & cheese fondue, matsutake

Variety: Nebbiolo

Origin: ITALY, Piemonte

Body: full body
