Amarone della Valpolicella DOC - Magnum’06, Marion, 1500

Only a few thousand bottles are produced of this magnificent Amarone. The grapes were dried on bamboo tables from harvest in September till January, then slowly fermented in stainless steel using only natural yeasts. Matured in 350 liter barrels of Slavonian oak. The result is a very complex, full-bodied wine with layers of dried fruit, allspice, minerals and hints of black pepper and liquorice. Sip and think!

red meat courses, aged cheeses, or as desert wine after a meal
